This week (Unit 2, Week 4) we will be talking all about survival.
The weekly essential question is: How Can People Help Animals Survive? Chunky Monkey is one of our reading strategies that help us decode, or attack new words. Chunky Monkey teaches us to "Chunk the Word"! Look for a “chunk” that you know (-and, -art, -old, -ing). Look for a word part (be-, -er).

This year as third graders, you will take the CAASP (or SBACK) for the first time. By this time, you have taken a lot of tests on your iPad. Let's brainstorm some test taking strategies that you already know so that we can show our VERY BEST and ROCK THIS TEST!
